Full membership is open to individuals who hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field, and are engaged in mathematical work or education.

Student membership is available to undergraduate and postgraduate students currently enrolled in mathematics or mathematics-related programs at recognized institutions.

Frequently Asked Questions
KMS offers five membership categories as outlined in our Constitution: Full Membership (voting rights) for those engaged in teaching, research or application of mathematics; Student Membership for full-time students; Associate Membership for those with interest in mathematics; Institutional Membership for organizations; and Honorary Membership awarded by the Executive Committee for exceptional service.
The KMS fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th as per our Constitution. Annual subscriptions become due by July 1st each year. Members who fail to pay for one year after it is due will be removed from the mailing list, but can be automatically reinstated upon payment of the current year's subscription.
We accept M-Pesa, bank transfers, and online card payments through our secure payment gateway. Institutional members can also request invoice payment.
Yes! You can upgrade from student to regular membership at any time. Simply log in to your account and select the upgrade option. You'll only pay the difference for the remaining period.
